1970s Hi-Fi System from Breakaway Records

1970s Hi-Fi System from Breakaway Records

Most audiophiles agree that the best way to hear analog sounds — the way they were meant to be heard — is to play vinyl records on a vintage stereo system.  We’ve partnered with the experts at Breakaway Records to build a system that allows you to enjoy the warm sound of music the way it was intended.

This vintage 1970's system features an Elac Miracord 40A fully automatic turntable, a Yamaha CR-820 amplifier, a Pioneer CT-F7272 casette deck, and a pair of Infinity 1001A speakers. Driven by a traditional idler-wheel, the streamlined Elac turntable was designed & manufactured in West Germany & incorporates push button functionality so you can play records at 16, 33, 45 or 78 rpms. The Yamaha CR-820 amplifier features clean knobs and oversized rectangular switches & drives a pair of Infinity 1001A’s -- the increasingly rare speakers that High Fidelity magazine raved "can handle the most demanding orchestral material with ease." And because tapes are making a comeback, this hi-fidelity system even includes a pristine Pioneer CT-F7272 stereo cassette deck.

Fully serviced, calibrated and aligned by Tapehead Electronics, this classic system comes with a 3 month full warranty. Furniture not included.

Please note: All of STAG’s Grandest Gifts require custom shipping & additional time for preparation. We will mail you a handwritten note & high quality card with a description of the item to present to your loved ones over the holidays.
