African Coiled Basket

This Vintage African Coiled Basket features a beautifully woven geometric design throughout and is detailed with leather trim and cowry shells stitched around the outer edge. Baskets like these were used to carry goods to and from markets for centuries and offer a hand-worn patina to warm up any space.
